Under The Microscope

Every now and then, God takes us back to the moment where a journey truly began. For me, one of those moments happened in the spring of 2021—long before Ja’ja Chews had a name, a purpose, or a mission anyone could see.

In March of 2021, God showed me something—quiet, subtle, but impossible to ignore. And by April, the Holy Spirit prompted me again, this time leading me to a place I hadn’t expected: my children’s former high school.

When I walked inside, the principal was standing in the hallway as if he had been waiting for me. I told him I was on assignment and needed a high-powered magnification microscope. Without hesitation, he picked up his walkie-talkie and instructed the science department to bring one to the front office. No questions. No resistance. It was as though he sensed that something bigger than all of us was unfolding.

That day, I placed two samples under the microscope—

a popular vitamin and one of the very first homemade Ja’ja Chews.

What I saw confirmed what God had already been stirring in my spirit:

there was purpose in this process, even before I fully understood it.

🔬 What the Microscope Revealed

Below is what I saw that day—left vs. right, side-by-side.

LEFT — Popular Vitamin

Under magnification, the vitamin revealed:

•Scattered bursts of red, yellow, and blue light

•Cloudy, murky patches

•Dense, irregular clusters

•The kind of refraction and texture you see with synthetic binders, dyes, coatings, and fillers

It broke apart like something manufactured, chemically constructed, and far removed from anything natural.

RIGHT — Ja’ja Chew

The Ja’ja Chew told a completely different story:

•A warm, golden translucency

•Natural fibers and pulp visible throughout

•Soft, organic clusters

•Light passing through cleanly, with no artificial colors bouncing back

It broke down like whole, God-made ingredients—ginger, lemon, garlic, and honey—showing their true, unprocessed structure.

🌿 The Revelation

Side by side, the difference was clear:

✨ The vitamin separated like a product designed in a lab.

✨ The Ja’ja Chew broke down like real food created by God.

Those early glimpses—those quiet obediences and divine nudges—became the foundation of Ja’ja Chews. From the very beginning, it was never just about ingredients. It was about assignment. Alignment. And faith in motion.
